We provide testing for individuals who are homebound and need COVID-19 testing. We have partnered with Kalamazoo, Barry, and Allegan countries to serve residents that do not have the physical ability to get to a center to be tested once exposed.
*NOTE - Medicare considers you homebound if: You need the help of another person or medical equipment such as crutches, a walker, or a wheelchair to leave your home, or your doctor believes that your health or illness could get worse if you leave your home, or if it is difficult for you to leave your home and you typically cannot do so.

How the sample is performed
Patient will be given a swab and asked to collect a sample of nasal secretions. This is done by inserting the swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage (midway) with the most visible drainage or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not present. The swab is rotated several times, removed gently and this process is repeated on the other side
Cost and payment
Patients with insurance should not have any out-of-pocket costs for a covered COVID-19 test. If you have health insurance, they must bring card with to the test site. For patients who test negative for COVID-19 through a rapid test, will pay out-of-pocket costs for the in-clinic visit.
